Whether you're facing ongoing communication struggles, adjusting to major life transitions, or simply looking to strengthen your emotional bond, our experienced Therapists provide a non-judgmental environment to work through it together.

What Is Couples Counselling?

Also known as Relationship Therapy, it is a form of psychotherapy that focuses on improving relationship dynamics between two people. Sessions involve open dialogue facilitated by a trained Therapist who helps both individuals feel heard, respected and supported. The work often includes exploring patterns, unmet needs, emotional triggers and shared goals.

Common reasons couples come to us for help:
  • Communication breakdown.
  • Trust issues or infidelity.
  • Parenting and family tensions.
  • Life transitions (e.g. moving, new baby, illness).
  • Intimacy or sexual concerns.
  • Managing conflict and emotional triggers.
  • Preparing for long-term commitment or separation.

Our Approach

Our Counsellors use an integrative approach, drawing on a range of evidence-based methods tailored to your relationship’s unique needs. By combining tools and techniques from different therapeutic models, we offer flexible, personalised support that evolves as your relationship does. Sessions are typically held weekly or fortnightly in our comfortable Lincoln offices or via online video calling. Both partners are actively involved in the process and encouraged to reflect, engage and grow together.
